Woman in Networking held their annual conference this past January and handed out awards to extraordinary Twin Cities business woman who lift others up for professional growth and business success. This year Woman in Networking added a special award, the WINspiration Award for a woman who has been a trailblazer and inspires other women with her achievements, commitment, business savvy and tenacity to grow business while remaining passionate about her work. The WINspiration Award recipient was Lori Spiess, whose business and personal growth are a special inspiration to all women in business.

When Lori Spiess opened OffiCenters 30 years ago, she not only created incubation space for many small business owners, but showed many the way to success. She shares her wisdom generously, helping her clients cross pollinate their expertise and contacts, while providing guidance on business priorities and interpreting trends. Associates believe that Lori’s understanding of labor needs and her efforts to support small business development play a key role in economic recovery. They note, “Lori invests in what matters.
