There’s more to do this winter than ever before! Aside from the usual outdoor activities like skiing, snowboarding or tubing, you can also check-out these events! See ice castles in Stillwater, watch the Crashed Ice Finals in St. Paul or attend a hockey game on Minnesota Hockey Day or during the U.S Pond Hockey Championships. This year is also the 132nd celebration of the St. Paul Winter Carnival, featuring the people’s ice palace in heart of Rice Park. And, in case you haven’t heard, there will be a little football game in Minneapolis too. The Super Bowl is more than a game; it’s an experience that will introduce millions of visitors from around the globe to not just our state, but our state of mind that says, “The cold never bothered US anyway!”
