Lori Spiess knows entrepreneurs. Her goal is to help the small business owner maximize efficiency and minimize capital expenditures.

Minnesota’s small businesses are the key to its well-being. Recent records indicate that there are almost 500,000 small businesses keeping the state growing. Over 75% of those businesses
are “non-employers.” The owner of such a business does it all, sales & marketing, bookkeeping, answering the phone, etc.

Someone once said that small business owners need to appear “big” to customers in order to gain their trust and their dollars. First impressions still mean something to a consumer.

That’s where OffiCenters and Virtual OffiCenters come in. Founded by CEO Lori Spiess over 30 years ago, her companies offer a variety of services for the small business owner. The company began with an executive suites concept. Many business owners would rent office space within one complex and share receptionist and clerical services, as well as equipment and conference room space. OffiCenters has now expanded to five locations throughout the metro.
