October – Innovator
Alex Bernier, VirtualOffiCenters client at France, is our Innovator client this month.Yes, France may be their home location, but day in and day out the guys from RealEyes can be found working around the red table at Internationa Plaza their home away from home! Alex started working in the digital display industry right out of college and after 5 years started RealEyes Displays, LLC. Alex has coordinated projects for stadiums, factories, varieties of retail businesses and more. Read below to learn more about Alex and the passion he has for his business and clients.

I started RealEyes Displays at age 23, after receiving a Marketing/Entrepreneurship degree from UW Oshkosh. I have about 9 years of experience doing digital displays and touch screens for businesses across the country.
You were chosen as this month’s Innovator Client. What does being an Innovator mean to you?
Being an innovator and entrepreneur is not a job, it’s a way of life. I believe true entrepreneurs are like the knights of the business round table. They are passionate about improving people’s lives. Purposeful innovation allows regular people to move mountains.
No one likes to brag about their business, but if you HAD TO . . .
As a young business owner, passing 4 years in business was a big milestone. Looking at where we are headed, we think we’ll have a big impact on future digital communications.
We learn from our mistakes, especially in business. Give us some words of wisdom.
I’m big into the “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. One of the habits is: Seek first to understand, then be understood. Mistakes are one of the greatest triggers for growth. Those who understand and accept why they happen, profit from them.
Share the best advice you ever received.
The greatest advice I ever received was to realize that your perception creates your reality. When you learn to view your thoughts and perceptions objectively, you can make some very positive changes in your life. Describe your perfect day off.
Backpacking on the North Shore. Or rock climbing. Then something with bacon.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I can walk on my hands. I have a passion for chiropractic wellness care. I recently realized I’m only 2 degrees of separation from Matthew McConaughey and Larry the Cable Guy.
Together we are stronger. Tell us something you like about being our client.
A virtual office is a fantastic place to work and meet. It’s convenient and projects a professional image. The entire staff at OffiCenters is fantastic! We also really enjoying networking with other business owners.
If you could work anywhere under the sun, where would you choose?
Hmmm. Bora Bora looks pretty nice. Hopefully the ocean has WiFi.
