Every business has a story, tell us yours.
As a criminal defense attorney, I am very passionate about helping people, who find themselves in difficult circumstances, get past a very stressful situation so they can move forward with their lives instead of dwelling on the past.

I have been practicing criminal law for over 20 years as a Judicial Clerk, Assistant County Attorney, Public Defender and Private Practitioner in all types of misdemeanor and felony cases from speeding to murder.

You were chosen as this month’s Success Client. Tell us about your most recent Success.
In the past few weeks I have successfully challenged several cases in District and Appellate courts resulting in rulings in my clients’ favor. Most notably in one case, I was able to show the Assistant Attorney General that their Appeal was not timely filed and as a result he was forced to withdraw his appeal and my client’s license will continue to remain clear of any alcohol-related test results!

No one likes to brag about their business, but if you HAD TO . . .
I build a strong rapport with my clients which puts them so much more at ease about their situation and more importantly results in numerous referrals which I am always honored to receive – there is truly no better compliment than a referral.

We learn from our mistakes, especially in business. Give us some words of wisdom.
This quote seems quite apropos given his recent demise:
“I’ve made my share of mistakes along the way, but if I have changed even one life for the better, I haven’t lived in vain.” Muhammad Ali

Share the best advice you ever received.
Always know the statutes and rules and you will easily outmaneuver your opponent as they are likely unfamiliar with them.

Describe your perfect day off.
My perfect day off would be a day on a boat, on Lake of the Woods, with my family.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I sing. I used to sing bass with the Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company and currently sing in the choir at my synagogue. I’m also Canadian, eh?

Together we are stronger. Tell us something you like about being our client.
I have three words: Fay, Holly, and Jill. With a smile on their faces, they are always there for me and everyone else at OffiCenters!

If you could work anywhere under the sun, where would you choose?
I thought I would say ‘the moon’ because being in outer space sounds so fantastic but then I realized how impracticable it would be for clients to meet with me, so I’ll say right here at France OffiCenter.
