I’ve been working in retail merchandising for nearly 25 years. I worked for Target Corporation for 22 years in various roles with experience in project management, marketing, in-store planning, guest relations, sales promotions, imports, merchandising, and product development. My most recent position at Target was in the Entertainment buying office overseeing the division’s sales promotions as well as their returns process. Unfortunately due to the declining Entertainment industry my position was eliminated. I decided to think of it as an opportunity for a change. I was contacted by Haier America to pursue a position as a Senior Midwest Business Analyst working with customers such as Target, Best Buy, Bluestem and Menards and found it to be a great fit. I’ve been with them for a little over 2 years and have found my retail background to be a great asset in my current position and have really enjoyed learning the vendor side of the retail business as well as learning what makes our customer’s businesses successful.

We learn from our mistakes, especially in business. Give us some words of wisdom.
Attention to detail is huge! Small mistakes have BIG impacts so double check your work. Also, get to know your customer and treat their business as your top priority.

I think traveling and exploring new places is a great way to spend a day but I also love a nice summer day in MN meeting a friend for lunch or taking in a movie or shopping.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I have a Bachelors in Theatre Arts and am working on writing a script.

I love how your team is always so upbeat, always say hello and are always willing to go that extra mile to help me anyway they can. I also think its great how you plan events to show you appreciate your clients as much as we appreciate you.
