Every business has a story, tell us yours.
I was a framing carpenter, and fell from a rooftop in 1985 and was injured. So, I went back to college and completed a journalism degree. I met Lisa Olsonoski, who worked for a law firm, Thomas Bauer and Associates, and she convinced Tom to hire me as an investigator. I knew nothing about investigating other than what I had learned from watching the Rockford Files. In spite of my inexperience, Lisa and Tom kept me employed. In 1988, Minnesota began requiring those with drug and alcohol use related offenses to complete a chemical health assessment. Tom suggested that I return to college and complete a degree in Chemical Dependency and learn the chemical health assessment business, which I did. I have been in my current career path since 1990. Lisa Olsonoski is now a senior employee of OffiCenters, and in May she convinced me to move my practice to OffiCenters in Bloomington. I also work part-time for Delta Airlines. I commonly work 65 to 70 hours weekly.
