ClearCause Foundation Named as Non-Profit Partner for CONNECT LAUNCH
VirtualOffiCenters is proud to announce our non-profit partner for the CONNECT Launch Party, ClearCause Foundation. Their mission is keeping America’s youth and student’s safe on programs abroad. ClearCause provides tools and information to help parents, youth and chaperones identify risks associated with traveling abroad and take positive steps to mitigate these risks.
Parent and students wrongfully assume laws that protect students on American campuses also apply on student programs abroad. Our youths have been placed with unsafe chaperones, in unsafe housing, in unsafe areas, in unsafe vehicles with unsafe drivers. There is no jurisdiction when on foreign soil. It is the goal of ClearCause Foundation to inform and engage others in an effort to establish Traveling Youth & Students Standards of Safety because no federal oversight, minimum standards, or transparent reporting exists in a $20+ billion dollar student travel, cultural exchange and study abroad industry with American students.
ClearCause efforts are dedicated to the numerous young Americans who futures were tragically cut short or were harmed on a program abroad. ClearCause Memorial Wall remembers and honors these bright students by celebrating their lives.
