BizzyWeb started in 1999 as a hobby, and got our name by combining “business” and “web”… back when it was easy to find great domain names. We grew slowly until 2008, when we started adding team members and copyrighted our tagline: Generate Buzz Without Getting Stung! Now we employ 15 people, based mostly out of our offices in Champlin, MN. We’re proud Virtual clients and our team has partnered often with the OffiCenters team. You were chosen as this month’s Milestone Client. Tell us about your Milestone achievements.
I was just named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Twin West Chamber of Commerce.
No one likes to brag about their business, but if you HAD TO . . .
We take a unique approach to digital marketing for our clients. Most of our competitors focus on widgets or selling a specific solution. At BizzyWeb, we custom-tailor our marketing programs to each client depending on their needs. We essentially become the outsourced marketing team for our customers, and offer experts in social media, email marketing, SEO, advertising, content writing and web design for less than the cost of a new hire. We learn from our mistakes, especially in business. Give us some words of wisdom.
Don’t play the low-cost-provider game. There’s always someone willing to undercut your price… but it’s so much more rewarding, and better for you AND your customers, if you lead with value and results instead. Be better than everyone else, and charge what you’re worth.

Relaxing with my family at our cabin in central Minnesota, on the lake.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I’m an Eagle Scout, and my son is well on his way to doing the same.
