Tim Netzell, of Netzell Legal Services, PLLC/Assure Title, LLC, celebrates his company’s 25th anniversary this year. Tim offers a wide range of legal, real estate and other professional services for small businesses and individuals. With experience running several small businesses, he understands the priorities and both short and long term goals of his clients. Keep reading for more from Tim!

I started in the title insurance business many years ago, and quickly learned that being honest and taking good care of your customers was the key to moving forward. I started and grew (with the help of many smart people) a title insurance company that became the largest in the state for our underwriter at the time. During that time, I also graduated from law school and started my private practice. About 10 years ago, I decided it was time to simplify my life, and sold the title insurance company to a partner and went back to the full time practice of law. Over time, I got pulled back into the title insurance business due to client requests, and am now practicing real estate law, and providing a few clients with their title insurance needs.
You were chosen as this month’s Milestone Client. Tell us about your Milestone achievements.
The most important thing in my life is my family, and I can honestly say that my kids living their live to the fullest will be my most important achievement.
No one likes to brag about their business, but if you HAD TO . . .
My clients know that they can trust me to look out for their interests and to find a way to make a difficult transaction happen so they can reach their goals.
We learn from our mistakes, especially in business. Give us some words of wisdom.
Trust is extremely important and necessary part of any business transaction, but it must be earned. Trust given without it being earned is a recipe for problems.
Share the best advice you ever received.
Once you lose your integrity, it is gone forever, so be very careful to be honest in all dealings.
Describe your perfect day off.
A quiet day in the woods and a campfire with my wife and dogs.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I love actions sports and recreational activities. Roller coasters, skydiving, zip lines and those type of things are great and I love. I still have to get the bungee jumping on my to-do list, and with any luck, something new will replace when that has been done.
Together we are stronger. Tell us something you like about being our client.
I really like the ability to have a “front office” without the added expense of additional employees. The professional atmosphere and treatment my clients receive is very important to me.
