1) What would you like people to know about you and your business? RockPaperStar helps you deliver your expertise and spread your message through books, speaking and training products. We work with beginners and National Bestsellers. We also book speakers and are always looking for great places to send them around the country.
2) Where did you get the idea for your business? I wanted to help Harvey Mackay, #1 New York Times bestseller of Swim With The Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive, reach more people. I knew he needed to use the internet so I asked for the business. I’ve been running ever since and know that good messages help grow business and make people better.
3) What makes your business unique? We are creative, fun, resourceful and scrappy.
4) What is your ‘elevator speech’? Helping build the buzz for speakers, authors and business owners. We guide you to monetize your message.
5) What are the keys to your success? Build great relationships. Do good work. Say you’re sorry if you screw up. Make it fun. Win more than you lose.
6) What is the one piece of advice you’d like to give to others about running a business? Surround yourself with great people.
7) How long have you been at OffiCenters? Which location? 4 years. I started at International and now am at Union. During the summer months I spend a lot of time at Park.
8) How has your relationship with OffiCenters changed your business? It’s made me better. It made me realize that I didn’t have to do it all myself. Lori and her staff saying hi to me ever day makes me feel a part of something. I love the networking events and it’s great to have someone help me with administrative work when we have too much work.
9) If you could work from anywhere under the sun, where would you choose? The end of my dock.

11) What piece of technology can you not live without? Phone.

13) Who has been an inspiration in your life? My parents.
14) When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Watch The Mentalist.
15) If you had a long weekend with unlimited funds, where would you go? New York City.
16) If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? Harriet The Spy. She’s clever and keeps good notes.
17) What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? Punch Pizza.
18) What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? Taking Care of Business. Bachman Turner Overdrive.
19) If you could paint a picture what would you paint and why? A canoe on the water and sunset. It’s peaceful.
