 2013 April Staff VIPTaylor Holm
is our Staff VIP this month! Taylor is an Office Service Specialist at our St. Louis Park location. Taylor was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ for 2012. Taylor has been instrumental in facilitating a smooth transition for the clients at Park OffiCenter during the recent remodel of their center. We cannot thank Taylor enough for all her hard work! Read on to find out more about Taylor.

1)    What would you like people to know about you? That I’m only 21! When I tell people that, they seem to always be surprised for some reason.

2)    How long have you worked for OffiCenters and which location? Only 6 months at the St. Louis Park location! But I love it here already!

3)    What do you think is the most important thing that you do for OffiCenter clients? Do I have to pick one thing?! I think just being here for ANYTHING they may need is important. Being on “standby” for whatever they may need!

4)    If you could work from anywhere under the sun, where would you choose? Italy! Hands down! That is my “dream vacation” spot and, because SOMEDAY I will get there, I’ve been slowly teaching myself Italian.

5)    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blog? It’s a tie between Facebook and blogging. I love blogging…but I also love Facebook. Facebook may take a small lead, because I love keeping up to date with family that is far away.

6)    What is the one piece of technology that you cannot live without? Cell phone. (Does anybody have a different answer!?)

7)    Who has been an inspiration in your life? My parents and my fiancé. My parents because they are everything I want to be, and my fiancé because he shows me every day how to be a better person.

8)    If you could be invisible for one day what would you do? I have no idea! I think I might just pull pranks on people all day. That would be entertaining!

9)    What is one of your favorite quotes? “It will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright, it’s not the end.” It’s from the movie Marigold Hotel, which was a TERRIBLE movie, but I love that quote!

10)  When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Anybody hear of Pinterest!? I’m ADDICTED! I’m such a crafter that I love looking on Pinterest for new and fun ideas to make. It’s a great website too if you’re planning a wedding!

11)  If you had a long weekend with unlimited funds, where would you go? Italy! Someday I will get there!

12)  Who would you choose to be shipwrecked with on a desert island? Probably somebody like the President because everyone would be looking for them.

13)  If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. I think that time era is extremely interesting and I LOVE that book, and come on…who doesn’t want to marry Mr. Darcy?!

14)  What is your favorite place to visit in Minnesota? Gooseberry Falls in Duluth. We went there for the first time last summer and we loved hopping around and climbing on the falls.

15)  What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra, You’ll Never Find by Lou Rawls, Back In Black by ACDC.

16)  If you could paint a picture, what would you paint? I’m a sucker for sunsets!

17)  Do you have any hobbies? I’m teaching myself to knit. I like doing crafty projects and I have a room just for that! I’m also working on becoming a great cook!

18)  What is your idea of a perfect meal? A medium rare steak, loaded mashed potatoes, and a glass of Moscato wine. Perfect!

19)  If you were to be remembered for one thing what would you like it to be? My hard work! I’m always trying to out-do myself and work harder and better.

20)  Tell us your favorite OffiCenters story. I think winning “Rookie of the Year” at our OffiCenters staff party was my favorite story. Lori gave a VERY sweet little speech and a big hug and presented me as “Rookie of the Year”. It was VERY sweet of her!
