Hats & Mittens is a Minnesota non-profit founded by Rebecca Jorgenson Sundquist with the goal of ensuring that the children of our community have access to warm hats & mittens during our cold winters. Over 600,000 hats and mittens have been collected and distributed in the metro area and Greater Minnesota since 1996. This year, over 50 organizations in the twin cities metro area and the Duluth area will be recipients of warm hats & mittens! Hats & Mittens goal is to collect 40,000 or more sets to fill the need, and we can help! You’ll find collection boxes in all of our spaces. Bring in a hat & mitten set or a cash donation ($10 buys a new set) and help us warm the head, hands and heart of kids throughout our state!
