CONNECT Story #46

Martin DeMarte, Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, specializes in home selling and buying assistance to individuals, third party relocation companies and corporations within the greater Minneapolis – Saint Paul area. Below, Martin tells why OffiCenters is his place to Work Awesome.

I was referred to OffiCenters by Trygve Olson with BizzyWeb. Trygve introduced Lisa and I and shortly after I started attending their free networking and educational events. Every time I was in a space it was re-enforced how dynamic, friendly and open their members were. I needed to be part of a community, have a place to go and meet with clients and valued the flexibility of using the different locations based upon my schedule. I became an OffiCenters member because of the strong alignment of goals and the need to serve others that I witnessed on my first visit and that I continue to see everyday that I walk into one of their spaces.

As a newer member, I’m expanding my connections. As of right now, I have made several connections where I see the potential for mutual referrals and business opportunities that hopefully will lead to an ongoing relationship. Right now, I am in the process of working with one of the other members on a business opportunity to grow each of our businesses.

Being a member has already had a positive impact on my business. It is a great feeling to know you have a place to go outside of the “home office” or a coffee shop. The culture and workspace(s) support my ability to be productive and as a lifetime learner I have found each session a great opportunity to learn and apply what I have learned to growing my business.
