The next time you plan on buying something, ask yourself, “Could I make this purchase in the OffiCenter community or at a small business instead?” By purchasing from small businesses, not only can you find unique items, but you’re also supporting your local community. Additionally, you can spread the word about your experiences with these businesses to help increase their visibility and check local calendars for art fairs and events where you can purchase one-of-a-kind pieces. Gift cards are another versatile and convenient way to support small businesses, offering financial support while giving others a chance to discover something new. Be sure to extend gratitude to your favorite small businesses so they know their work matters. This may seem like a small act, but it goes a long way.
