In 1983 Jim Palic and Andy Williamson started one of the country’s first internet training programs. In 2004 ONLC’s Remote Classroom Instruction (RCI) was created. 1)   Who are you and what do you do? We are ONLC Training Centers. ONLC Training Centers was founded in 1983 when Jim Palic and Andy Williamson left their positions as mainframe programmers with the Dupont Company to start one of the industry’s first computer training companies.

2)   Which OffiCenters location does your business call ‘home-base’? OffiCenter at International Plaza.

3)   How long have you been an OffiCenters client? Since September 2011.

4)   Where did you get the idea for your business? In 2004, when we saw how businesses and individuals were being impacted by the training industry’s chronic class cancellation problem, we responded.

5)   What makes your business unique? We pioneered a solution that connects multiple classrooms into a single live training event. This allowed us to drop our cancellation rate to below 5% (the lowest in the training industry) while still delivering a classroom-based, instructor-led training solution. We feel strongly that the classroom is the centerpiece of an exceptional training experience and created a solution that blends traditional and remote classroom instruction. We call it RCI.

6)   What are the keys to your success? IT training is our only business. We focus all of our energy on meeting the training needs of our clients. As a result, ONLC Training Centers has grown to be one of the largest privately held IT training companies in the USA, delivering training at our more than 300 locations coast to coast.
