1) Who are you and what do you do? Glenn J. Schwartz, Attorney at Law. I have a general business and personal practice in Estate Planning, Real Estate and, Probate and Business Law.
2) Which OffiCenters location does your business call ‘home-base’? Olympic Place OffiCenter in Eden Prairie.
3) How long have you been an OffiCenters client? Since August 2006, just over 7 years.
4) What is your ‘elevator speech’? I have been a licensed attorney for 35 years, working in the areas of Estate Planning, Business Organizations, Real Estate, Probate, Litigation and Bankruptcy. I am different from any attorney specializing in any particular one of these areas of practice because: 1) I analyze the legal issues from many different legal viewpoints. 2) I consider the actual family and personal ramifications. 3) I look for the best legal solution that is most cost efficient for my client.
5) Where did you get the idea for your business? I decided to become a Lawyer during my sophomore year in High School and never deviated. I was a Lawyer at 24 years old.
6) What makes your business unique? I listen first, respond second, take action third and I take care of my clients before I take care of myself.
7) What are the keys to your success? Service to my clients and consistent honesty and credibility in dealings with clients and advisors.
8) How has officing with OffiCenters changed your business? Being in Olympic Place OffiCenter has been a super-efficient cost effective way to maintain a professional office.
9) What would you like people to know about you? I meet my commitments and I do not want to let anyone down.
10) Do you use social media to attract clients? If so, which services do you use? I have a website and use LinkedIn.
11) What is one of your favorite quotes? “Brevity is the soul of wit”
12) Who has been an inspiration in your life, and how? My Father. He was a quiet man who was kind to all people and true to his word.
13) When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Being active, reading or meditating.
14) If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? Jason Bourne. He is a confused hero, but he always wins.
15) If you could be any animal, what would you be and why? A dog; please read Thomas Edison’s Dog by Kurt Vonnegut.
16) What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? Santorini’s.
17) What is your favorite place to visit in Minnesota? North Shore, Lutsen area.
18) What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? For What It’s Worth by Buffalo Springfield and Suite Judy Blue Eyes by Crosby, Stills and Nash.
19) If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve ever seen before, what would you paint and why? The Temperance River; it’s wild, beautiful and free.
20) What is your favorite part of being with OffiCenters? Having a professional office environment with competent staff and outstanding conference rooms for meetings with my clients.
