One of our France OffiCenter clients, Kyle Warren, Dr. of Chiropractic at Warren Internal Health, is our Innovator feature this month. Warren Internal Health is a functional medicine clinic focused on promoting whole-body vitality for patients with chronic health problems. Functional medicine looks at finding the cause of a problem and correcting that, rather than just reducing symptoms while a patient’s health continues to deteriorate. Dr. Warren offers accurate, individualized assessment, lab-based, objective nutritional analysis, and chiropractic adjustments to help you feel better and promote true healing. Read on to learn more about Dr. Kyle’s Innovative Chiropractic Practice!
1) Who are you and what do you do? I am Dr. Kyle Warren and I help people with chronic illnesses such as thyroid disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and chronic pain.
2) Which OffiCenters location does your business call ‘home-base’? France OffiCenter.
3) How long have you been an OffiCenters client? Since the spring of 2011, so nearly 2 years now.
4) What is your ‘elevator speech’? Are you struggling with fatigue, low energy, chronic pain, or some other health problem? Have you been to the doctor and been told you were normal or maybe you were just depressed? At Warren Internal Health we help people when other doctors have missed finding answers to their health problems.
5) Where did you get the idea for your business? Chiropractors are so variant from one another. I got the idea for my business by visiting some of my mentors and working in their offices during my schooling.
6) What makes your business unique? My office is unique in that I have a “functional medicine” perspective on reading blood tests, hormone tests, and neurology tests. This extra training helps me make connections other doctors miss and see things in lab tests other doctors don’t see. Any doctor can catch a straight forward, by the book illness. I am unique in helping those who have symptoms that do not present in a “classical medical textbook way” and thus, are being missed by other doctors and falling through the cracks of the medical system.
7) What are the keys to your success? I believe I’m successful because I care about my patients and want to see them attain good health to pursue their goals in life. Getting good results also helps!
8) How has officing with OffiCenters changed your business? OffiCenters has provided a low overhead, highly professional office for me to see patients. The value has been unbeatable and I’ve had several offers over the past year to office elsewhere but so far no one has been able to compete with the professional atmosphere and service I’ve received with OffiCenters.
9) What would you like people to know about you? I believe in diligence in everything I do. I ran a 4:15 mile in college on the track team and that came through consistently working hard for over 4 years towards that goal. In my job, I consistently work hard to learn and grow as a doctor so that I continue to get better and better.
10) Do you use social media to attract clients? Which services do you use? I am a doctor not a marketer! I pay someone to help me with some YouTube videos, Facebook, Twitter, and blog posts. My blog is http://bloomingtonthyroidproblemsandhealth.com/wblog/
11) What is one of your favorite quotes? 1 Corinthians 4:7 a good verse on humility and gifts from God. “For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?”
12) Who has been an inspiration in your life, and how? My Uncle Don was a successful business man. As he grew to be more and more successful he was more and more humble, and more and more loving. I think I have always had great aspirations for accomplishment, but without his guidance I would have been a much more arrogant and less compassionate individual. I am thankful for his example and the maturity he displayed in viewing his success as a blessing from the Lord and not something that made him better than anyone else. Rather, his accomplishments were something that made him able to bless more people.
13) When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Um, honestly I typically read scientific articles for fun…like research on new immune system markers or I play with my two children. I have a 2 and ½ year old little girl named Lily and a 10 day old boy named Lucas. Hide and seek is a favorite right now.
14) If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? I would be The Flash. I have always loved being fast (thus the college running career).
15) If you could be any animal, what would you be and why? Once again my favorite animal is a cheetah because it’s fast!
16) What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? My wife and I enjoy Brasa in St. Paul.
17) What is your favorite place to visit in Minnesota? Taylor’s Falls is a beautiful place. We are taking my first ever trip up to Two Harbors this spring which I am looking forward to.
18) What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? Well, I think I owned 20 Dave Matthews Band CD’s before I owned 1 from another person or band so I’ll just say I enjoy most songs by DMB. Besides Dave, I actually like my father’s music which includes; The Eagles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Pink Floyd.
19) If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve ever seen before, what would you paint and why? My wife and I traveled to Cinquea Terra in Italy and went hiking along the bluffs of the Mediterranean. I watched the sun set over the ocean with my wife and it was breathtaking. That is what I would paint!
20) What is your favorite part of being with OffiCenters? I like being up high on the 15th floor and looking out at the weather coming from the West.
