1) Who are you and what do you do? Cassandra Brashier with Global View Capital Advisors and The Strategic Financial Alliance. Our Mission is to help design, protect and grow the personal economy of people.
2) Which OffiCenters location does your business call ‘home-base’? OffiCenter at International Plaza
3) How long have you been an OffiCenters client? Since OffiCenters took over the location and we have been thrilled to be part of the OffiCenters family ever since!
4) What is your ‘elevator speech’? I work with advanced investing programs which used to be exclusive for institutions and wealthy people but, are now available to the majority of investors.
5) Where did you get the idea for your business? I was lucky enough to have grown up with my mom in this industry. The funny part is I never thought I would ever be doing this but I knew I wanted to do something that made me feel like I was being of service to others and helping them with something that would have a positive impact. I thought my path was going to take me to become a marriage counselor but when I found out finances were the main issue in most divorces; I made up my mind to learn how to help save marriages by helping people with their finances.
6) What makes your business unique? We are very educational and consultative in nature. We offer a different approach than the ‘buy and hold’ world, and offer many solutions in today’s uncertain times.
7) What are the keys to your success? Sticking with it long enough. Any business has ups and downs especially in the early years. If I would have given up every time it was tough I wouldn’t be here. What has gotten me through has been being a constant student to this industry and to business success principles.
8) How has officing with OffiCenters changed your business? They have alleviated many pressures of running a business by having a great office staff who have been constantly going above and beyond and taking on some of the tasks I would otherwise have to hire someone to take on. They allow me to focus on the things that are important to running my business and growing it. They are organized, efficient and professional.
9) What would you like people to know about you? I love spending time with my husband and 9 month old Gianna.
10) Do you use social media to attract clients? If so, which services do you use? I am on Linkedin and use that for business.
11) What is one of your favorite quotes? “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
12) Who has been an inspiration in your life, and how? My mom. She started with nothing and through hard work, sacrifice, and personal growth she has become a great success.
13) When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Catching up with friends and family.
14) If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty. She can fly, is spunky, eats what she wants and has a magic wand.
15) If you could be any animal, what would you be and why? An Eagle. They can fly, they don’t flock and they mate for life.
16) What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? The Capital Grill
17) What is your favorite place to visit in Minnesota? The Cathedral
18) What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? “Oh God Beyond All Praising”, “Can you love me falling?” Mike Mangoine, “Working on a Dream” Bruce Springsteen, “Que Sera Sera” Doris Day.
19) If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve ever seen before, what would you paint and why? I would paint a picture of what our daughter looked like right after she was born. She was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen and I will never forget those precious moments immediately following her birth.
20) What is your favorite part of being with OffiCenters? I am so thankful to be at OffiCenters because of the outstanding staff and fun environment they create at each location I’ve been to. They have a real commitment to excellence.
