While working as a banker, Alex Thiele experienced his customers’ frustration with the bank’s credit card processing company. Being the Innovator that he is, Alex saw a need to provide businesses with customized credit card solutions, emphasizing on giving them the customer service that they deserve! Three years ago Alex moved into Union Plaza OffiCenter and opened Lion’s Lynk, a credit card processing company that specializes in tailoring credit card solutions to accommodate the individual needs of their clients.

1)   Who are you and what do you do? My name is Alex Theile and I do credit card processing.

2)   Which OffiCenters location does your business call ‘home-base’? Union Plaza OffiCenter.

3)   How long have you been an OffiCenters client? 3 years.

4)   Where did you get the idea for your business? I was a banker with TCF for a year and all of our customers hated the customer service of our credit card processor.

5)   What makes your business unique? A focus on customized solutions for businesses of every size. No two clients are alike.

6)   What are the keys to your success? 1) Listening to our customers’ needs. 2) Customizing solutions around those needs. 3) Outstanding customer service.

7)   How has officing with OffiCenters changed your business? It allows us to have a professional presence and has increased our business network.

8)      What would you like people to know about you? I am committed to the best interests of my customers.

9)   When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Reading the Economist or Wall Street Journal or cooking.

10)   What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? La Belle Vie

11)   What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? All of the Lights by Kanye West, When We Were Young by The Killers, The Kids Aren’t Alright by The Offspring.

12)   If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve ever seen before, what would you paint and why? The beaches of St. John, part of the US Virgin Islands, because it is a beautiful and relaxing scene.

13)   What is your favorite part of being with OffiCenters? The staff and fellow small business owners.
