Joey Pepka, Owner of Peptronics, has been a VirtualOffiCenters member since June 2012. With the slogan, “We Take the SH out of IT!”, Joey really is your “hole-in-one technical professional”. Below, he shares the power of referrals and how his business has benefited since joining our community.
I enjoy attending the OffiCenter Monthly Networking Events and this CONNECT story is like the gift that keeps on giving. It all started with a referral from Ana at the Union Plaza OffiCenter as she referred me to Brian Bennett of AH Bennett, a successful roofing, siding and windows company in Minneapolis. Brian has been a faithful client for three+ years.
Brian referred me to Frank Wilkinson, an independent insurance professional. Frank has had minor computer issues here and there and this spring we were swapping out his old computer for a new one. While at his office, Frank referred me to Roger Hale, an independent machinery professional. I’ve had the privilege of helping Roger buy a new computer and software, provide training and support and answer all the questions that come with mastering a new computer and technology.
In addition to those connections, I met Michael Thannert of Whizkids through OffiCenters. He is a great resource for phone systems I am currently using him to install a phone system for one of my clients. Since becoming a member of OffiCenter’s five years ago, I have had the pleasure of expanding my business through these amazing connections. I strongly encourage you to attend the monthly networking events as you never know where it might lead you!
Best of all, I know that I am part of a community of business professionals who care about and support each other. The staff is incredible and I especially appreciate the ongoing support I receive from Lori Spiess, our fearless leader. I don’t know where my business would be without the referrals from all 5 OffiCenter locations. Luckily for me, I don’t have to worry about that. I get to focus on the thing I love the most—serving my clients.
