CONNECT Story #12

Amy Lokken, Inventor of Mud Modular and VirtualOffiCenters client at Union Plaza, has made some great CONNECT-ions in our community. While attending OffiCenters CONNECT B2B Launch Party, Amy was introduced to Nicole Fende a VirtualOffiCenters at France through Tai Goodwin who also calls France OffiCenter home. Amy shares their story below.

Talk about making connections. I first met Tai Goodwin and Lori Spiess at the 2012 WIN Conference where they both happened to be receiving WIN awards. Within the following 12 months, I became a virtual client with OffiCenters and our paths would continue to cross at various networking events over the follow couple of years. Every time I would see Tai she would tell me she had someone I needed to meet. Fast forward to the Kick Off of the CONNECT Business 2 Business event and there was Tai Goodwin telling me she had someone for me to meet. Finally, she was able to introduce me to Nicole Fende. After a short introduction, Nicole and I hit it off immediately. She was in the process of writing her book and knew she had a need for my modular display systems. Throughout the following year we stayed in contact learning about each other’s businesses and how we are each other’s ideal clients. Nicole is now a proud owner of a multi-functional modular display system that she uses at tradeshows as well as a back drop for her video’s and Skype meetings. And I am one of her Profit Diva’s (#ProfitDiva – Yes, we even created a hashtag). In 2015, I look forward to working with Tai Goodwin on expanding my brilliance!
