Jim Jurewicz is the Director of the Brainstorm Company that focuses on turning brainstorms into reality by bringing your ideas and business to market, developing a business strategy and connecting you to the right network. Jim, a VOC client at Union Plaza, not only loves attending our networking groups himself, but always invites and brings new faces with him. Not a bad endorsement from a guy who is in the “connecting” business. Below, Jim shares how OffiCenters and VirtualOffiCenters provide exactly what his business needs to be successful.

Jim writes, I made it my business strategy for the Brainstorm Company to continue my success as a networking collaborator. I had achieved many connections worldwide through social media before Facebook and LinkedIn even existed. I resisted My Space and found amazing responsiveness with Plaxo. People who would not take your phone call or schedule an appointment were very zealous to connect online through social media, would give you their whole career history and respond to you instantly. I knew the days of waiting for people to come to my office were over.

 I took my networking skills to the next level through Meetup.com and found common ground with people who have the same interests I do, and instead of meeting people one at a time I was able to meet groups of people and my contact list had accelerated growth. Through these meetup groups, I met the ladies from OffiCenters repeatedly and listened to the value that OffiCenters and VirtualOffiCenters offered. I decided to close my office and became a VirtualOffiCenters client. I now have five offices in the Twin Cities at 10% of the cost I was paying for rent and parking. Low and behold OffiCenters and VirtualOffiCenters has networking meetings too and offers a directory of 900 plus businesses for me to network with. And, they allow me to bring my existing network of contacts to their many monthly networking meetings!

I learned that my contacts have many of the same needs and values that I appreciate from VirtualOffiCenters. In fact, many have become clients of OffiCenters and VirtualOffiCenters too, and they pay for referrals! I find that just about every month my rent is free because of the number of clients I bring for them every month.
