1) What would you like people to know about you and your business? I have been an independent investment advisor for 25 years.
2) Where did you get the idea for your business? When I was president of the St. Cloud State University Investments Club, I thought I would really enjoy being an investment advisor.
3) What makes your business unique? I place my client first in every recommendation I give.
4) What is your ‘elevator speech’? Everyone realizes that change is a constant in life. An appropriate investment mix or risk level five years ago may not be the right one for today. It is essential that one’s portfolio is kept up to date and compliments their current investment strategies.
5) What are the keys to your success? Building relationships through trust and good service.
6) What is the one piece of advice you’d like to give to others about running a business? You must be disciplined in all aspects of your business.
7) How long have you been at OffiCenters? Which location? I have been at the Olympic Place OffiCenter since July 2012.
8) How has your relationship with OffiCenters changed your business? My clients enjoy the professional handling of their calls and the atmosphere when they visit me at any of the OffiCenter locations.
9) If you could work from anywhere under the sun, where would you choose? Hawaii in the winter and Minnesota the rest of the year. Being born and raised in Minnesota I enjoy spring, summer and fall outdoor activities but winter is just too difficult. The only winter activity I would miss is ice fishing.

11) What piece of technology can you not live without? First is my office computer and second is my Android.
12) What is one of your favorite quotes? To be happy in life; honor God, keep your cool and try your best.
13) Who has been an inspiration in your life? Two people: My mother because she was widowed at 36 and raised four children on her own. Second, is my 30 year old niece Andrea because she has fought an inoperable Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma tumor in her chest for the past eight years and refuses to stop living along the journey.
14) When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Spending time with my wife and four children.
15) If you had a long weekend with unlimited funds, where would you go? Fly to New York with my wife, stay in the best hotel, eat delicious meals and pack in as many shows and activities as possible.
16) If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? Iron Man, simply to be a modern day super hero.
17) What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? Manny’s Steak House.
18) What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? Jesus Loves Me, Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA and Johnny Cash’s I Walked the Line.
19) If you could paint a picture what would you paint and why? The Grand Canyon because it is awe inspiring.
