1) What would you like people to know about you and your business? Global Holistic & Executive Consulting offers a place for entrepreneurs, students & anyone who would like direction and coaching to explore/develop their ideas or life purpose and gain practical yet advanced tools to fulfill their personal or professional goals. I also work with people with depression/anxiety, addictions, weight loss goals, relationship issues, and other conditions utilizing healing through mind-body practices. Lastly, I teach mind-body techniques to football/sports teams, high school and college students and adults.
2) Where did you get the idea for your business? As a teenager I would naturally inspire people to follow their dreams and meet the struggles of life with a bit of humor. I had a deep inner knowing about life that led me to the next thing. After college I was a psychotherapist and then went into management in a corporate setting. In 1993 the company I was working for restructured and I was laid off. I decided to go back to school for a Masters in Consciousness & Transformation Studies. The program enhanced my passion to inspire others to follow their true authentic self. It led me to opening Global Holistic Consulting in 1999.
3) What makes your business unique? The best way to describe that would be what my clients say about what they gain from working with me. They have said that they feel more confidence, clearer and trust in themselves to fulfill their vision/dreams, more relaxed to persevere and succeed, broader skill set to compete in a competitive market, enjoy life, recovery lifestyle from addictions and depression/or anxiety, some have said that this work has saved their life and given them a new start they never dreamed of. That makes it all worth it.
4) What is your ‘elevator speech’? I inspire people to remember and fulfill their life purpose.
5) What are the keys to your success? Relationships: I think what makes me successful is that I value and place importance on my relationships. I do my best to let people be who they need to be while inspiring them to break the barriers of their limitations. I like to be open to others influence and ideas even if they don’t fit my preferences. It does not mean that I agree with everything, however, it allows me to be open to change and growth as a person and as a company. I also follow where the larger market trends are going.
6) What is the one piece of advice you’d like to give to others about running a business? Keep showing up to your goals/dreams and be open to the surprise that change brings.
7) How long have you been at OffiCenters? Which location? I started as a Virtual Client in October 2012 at France OffiCenter. I enjoyed the people and professional office space so much I signed on for a full-time office in January 2013. By November 2013 my business continued to grow affording me to move to a beautiful window space. Currently I’m in the works of a new venture that may expand my business further to acquire a second office.
8) How has your relationship with OffiCenters changed your business? Global Holistic & Executive Consulting is on an upward growth scale since being surrounded by so many amazing people and businesses. Jill and Fay are an incredible professional support and are so welcoming every day I come into the office. It all makes me want to come to work every day. I also like all the networking events that they offer.
9) If you could work from anywhere under the sun, where would you choose? I appreciate where I am. I have a new business venture with a goal to expand nationally. However, I have been visioning that I would keep France OffiCenter as my headquarters. I feel very inspired here.
10) Tweet, Blog, LinkedIn, Facebook? You can find me on LinkedIn.
11) What piece of technology can you not live without? I can’t live without my mobile phone.
12) What is one of your favorite quotes? My son Dylan wrote a poem when he was age 13. I keep a copy in my office.

You are walking through it as happy as can be and you are saying out loud…THIS IS MY DREAM!!
13) Who has been an inspiration in your life? My two boys, Dylan and Tanner. Alex my holistic coach, and I am inspired by life daily.
14) When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it? Glass of wine with a friend, shopping, mind numbing TV, or sit and do nothing, letting the curiosity of life fill me up.

16) If you could be any fictional character, whom would you choose and why? Egyptian Goddess Isis or Scooby Do.
17) What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? There are so many great restaurants for food. But I would probably say Ruby Tuesdays in Apple Valley because my son works there and I don’t see him often enough.
