A Day ON, Not OFF!
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. The MLK Day of Service has impacted Americans as we are embracing the idea that citizenship involves taking an active role in improving communities. And, it’s in the spirit of service that OffiCenters will close on January 16 so our staff can participate in a group volunteer project.
We encourage everyone on or around January 16 to engage with your community and create positive change, act on Dr. King’s legacy of social justice and equity, and recommit by volunteering to serve others. Together we can strengthen ties to our communities and one another while we address critical issues that divide us.
